Here are some useful links: About the Daily Review: This method of checking in on a daily basis with our emotional reactions and distortions — things that bother us out of proportion to their significance — is outlined here by Pathwork Helper Jan Rigsby:...
Pathworker Paul Paquette, at the International Pathwork Conference in Rio last month, presents his painstaking research about Eva Pierrakos, who channeled the Pathwork Guide. What do we know about Eva, before she gave the first lecture in 1958? Paul sums it up:...
Our page is to help people who are interested in the Pathwork Guide Lectures, and this path of self-knowledge and self-purification, to connect and share. The Pathwork is a melding of spirituality and psychology. It is non dogmatic, and we invite people to read the lectures and determine if they speak to you. People get together to study the lectures informally in small groups, and also work with Pathwork Helpers and with each other. People are invited to get together with other students of this path and work to find images, or wrong conclusions about life, when are often formed in early childhood and which exercise an undue influence over our lives as we grow older. The image of the stream on our Facebook page is an important metaphor for the Pathwork (the work on your path). That metaphor is that flowing life energy (the water) is obstructed by negativity, by blocks, by images, which hinder the free flowing of that creative and loving energy. The work we share is to remove the branches and boulders in the stream so that our lives can be filled with the flowing energy of love, creativity, and understanding.
Aimee Falchuk on her upcoming presentation this Friday on "The Spiritual Meaning of Political Systems"
Dependency and exaggerated independence
Identity and belonging
Materialism and Separateness
Self Rule and Personal responsibility
Fairness and equality
self expression and exceptionalism
Abuse of power
Fear, greed, envy
All of these concepts and characteristics exist in our political systems in truth and distortion be it socialism, capitalistic democracy or others.
And all of these exist in our internal realities. They live within us.
Exploring them within ourselves is a way of understanding them in our systems of government and may allow us to better understand where we can do better both personally and collectively.
Hope you will join us June 21st for a discussion of the spiritual meaning of political systems.
